|||To get get darkrai is impossilble without the action replay or event. Unless you have Pokemon Rangers Shadow of Almia. There you can do a special ranger net mission that allows you to send drakrai to pokemon Diamond or Pearl. The mission is pretty much just going to the Altru tower to stop team Dim Sun. The mission is called Liberate the tower. You can also send other pokemon to diamond like Manaphy in the mission Recover the Manaphy egg and Riolu in Rescue Kidnapped Riolu.|||There are not very many ways to get Darkrai, sadly, but thanks to the new Pokemon Ranger game you can get him easily.
I don't have the Shadows of Almia version, but I have the first one and in it you had to beat the game then go on these special extra missions to get the Manaphy Egg, I'm not sure if that is the case with Shadows of Almia.
But if you don't want to buy the game, or an action replay(I borrowed my friend's to get Darkrai) then you can try trading online.
Be careful when you trade because some of the pokemon out there are hacked and can wreck your game.
Good luck getting Darkrai!|||There are no current nintendo events where Darkrai is being released within the next few days. The only really current way is to trade for it, but that requires having seen it, or to go and buy a Pokemon: Legends of Alma game.
And here are some thing that you should know about the game in order to get it. It is a special mission that is down loadable from the net, but only for a short time... the end date is January 30th 2009 and there is no telling if they will re-release it. One has to also beat the game to be able to do this mission.
It is level fifty, knows Dark Void, Darkpulse, Shadowball and Double Team. To transfer it over to the Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, one needs a second DS in order to do it and then one goes into the Pokemart and a man will give you the Pokemon... I believe you have to have an empty slot.|||Darkrai is very difficult to find, he is found in the New Moon Island. To get there you have to get the Member's Card, and to get this you have to go to a Special Event of Pokemons.

What you do when you get this is this...
1. Go to Canavele City
2. Go to the locked door to the North to the Pokemon Center
3. The men will tell you to go to bed, and you'll start dreaming
4. Go to the other side of the bridge and go to the sailor and he'll drive you to the New Moon Island
5. Go inside the island and you'll find Darkrai
6. Capture him!
