Is there any way to tell if a diamond is a conflict diamond?

Are there any stores that specifically sell non-conflict diamonds? I don't bother with diamonds because of the conflict diamond situation. Is there any way to be sure that a diamond isn't a conflict diamond?|||Yes! I did a paper on this issue once. There are many jewelries that only sell non conflict or "blood diamonds". As a matter of fact, most diamonds come with small paper/certificates that say you have purchased a non conflict diamond. But if you're unsure make sure you ask the salesperson or manager for re-assurance :)|||Its very good that you are making a stand not to support the blood diamond trade. It is hard to tell who is selling these diamonds because it done in a covert manner. however it is possible to tell who is NOT selling blood diamonds because reputable diamond merchants offer warranties and certification that tell you where the diamonds are coming from. today blood diamonds have been reduced to less than 1% of all the diamonds on the market. i found very good info on diamonds on this site: www.diamond-empire.com

I hope that was helpful.|||LOL! yes, take the word of a "piece of paper" because that fulfills your feelings towards this issue. reality is.. you will never know.. and thats it.. all u have is trust on someone. |||does it really matter??
