Where can I find a man made diamond engagement ring?

I am getting engaged and have ethical/moral objections to buying a mined diamond. I know that there are man made (cultured)diamonds but I can't seem to find a store that sells them. Any one know where I should look?|||Here is the thing. A few companies make ACTUAL man made diamonds, not the imitations that are everywhere. A company that is extremely popular with custom jewelry stores is Chatham. This company makes mostly colored diamonds, pink, canary, and blue. Here's why: it is prohibitively expensive to make white diamonds since the ingredients have to be so pure. The canary diamonds are a pretty yellow though, and can be made quite large. They are close in price to a mined diamond too. To find a person who deals in Chatham "Created" Diamonds, go to their website and use the store locator.

If you don't want a colored diamond buy a created white sapphire instead. No ethical problems and they are strong enough to be used in an engagement ring. They look similar to a diamond too.

If you live in the central TX area, my old store I worked at was Bentons in Salado, TX. We would order several different diamonds and then let the customer choose their fave.

PS Don't buy a CZ, they are too fragile to be used in engagement rings.|||www.betterthandiamond.com

they are harder than a real diamond (won't chip away like CZ) and look EXACTLY like the real thing... only the jewler would know the difference BECAUSE there are numbers that a jewler can see in the stone (if looking for them) under SUPER magnification that signify that it is man-made BUT the naked eye can NOT see this information at all... nor could I see the information under magnification! it's a SUPER buy!

here's a link to some of the pricing!!http://www.betterthandiamond.com/diamond鈥?/a>|||Cubic Zircon these days are great. There's also a stone called Moissanite. Or just buy a conflict free diamond.|||If you can not afford the real thing QVC sells some beautiful Diamonique rings in gold settings that are gorgeous. Just go to their website. They probably look as good if not better that those cultured diamonds that tend to cloud up.|||Try a antique shop or find an antique dealer.|||Try Mossanite. It is absolutely gorgeous, and looks better then diamonds. Look on Overstock.com, bidz.com JC Penny.com, www.Moissanite-Collection.com (best site)

Again the fire and color is stunning, but they are a little pricey. (they are set in 14K WG, YG, Plat.)

Good Luck|||The Canadian diamonds are all conflict free:
