Can I get a diamond stud earring put it right after getting my ears pierced?

I might be getting my ears pierced today, but can I get diamond studs in as my first earrings? Btw, I'm a guy if that matters and I think the place I'm going to has the gun thing.|||Of course you can!|||lol im pretty sure you can but im a girl soo..
