Can I send my pokemon from Diamond immediatly to Platinum, or after the elite four?

I have a completed Pokemon Diamond game and I'm getting Platinum on my birthday (well after since my birthday is Sunday and Pokemon Platinum comes out on the 22nd). I don't want to have trouble beating the elite four, unlike in Diamond, where I use my Rayquaza I imported from Emerald. Can I send Draggy (nickname of Rayquaza) to Platinum immediatly after I catch a pokemon, or do I have to wait until after the elite four?|||If you're going to transfer them directly from your Emerald then you have to wait to beat the Elite Four for Park Pal to open, but if you wanna trade you're gonna have to get a friend and send him/her your Draggy then just have your friend trade you it back for a pokemon you don't want. The problem is that he probably wont listen to you until you have all the gym badges(I'm guessing you have your Draggy at a high level) then you can go on with the game. Also if you don't know, tomorrow thru the 21st of March they will be giving out Regigigas lvl. 100 at toys r us. And you get to find Regice, Regirock, Registeel in platinum if you transfer it, otherwise you can't find them in the game.|||you will need to be able to get in a pokemon centre the you can trade any poke you want over.

|||You should just be able to trade your Rayquaza to Platinum version directly after getting to the first Pokemon Center in Sandgem Town, as long as you at least Pokemon on you. All the Pokemon games allow you to trade early on [like in Viridian City, Cherrygrove City, and Oldale Town before] for Yellow, Crystal, and Emerald. I don't see why they would change the process for Platinum.|||Well, if they are coming from your Emerald game then you must beat the Elite Four to gain access to Pal Park. If they are coming from your Diamond Game via another ds trading, then you are able to transfer them all.|||I'm not sure but i'll tell you i'm going to find out NOW!!!|||You can do that but if your useing a raquaza to beat the elite four it probably wont respond to your orders. You can do it but it will just be anoying to have to wait for it to listen, thats what I did with a swampert once and It was to annoying so I started the game over.|||You can send any Pokemon to Platinum from Diamond, if you have the National Dex on Platinum. So yes, you have the beat the E4 (Elite 4) and get the Natonal Dex.|||from diamond to platinum u can do it right after reaching the pokemon center in sand gem town .from emerald beat elite four gain access to pal park by obtaining the nat dex and use it


hope i helped|||Yes you can send your rayquazza from diamond straight to Platinum if you have 2 ds accessible, and as long as you go straight from diamond to Platinum, but i wouldn't use your rayquazza until you have beaten enough gym leaders to actually control it.|||As soon as you get to the first pokemon centre, you will be able to trade any pokemon you would like from pokemon diamond/pearl to pokemon Platinum. Althought you will not be able to control the pokemon if it is from another game until you get the gym badge that lets you. You will also not be able to see it on you pokedex untill you have the National dex in you possesion because Rayquaza is not part of the Sinnoh Dex. Ive been playing pokemon for 9 years, I think im right :)
