How long should my first charge be for my HTC Touch Diamond?

I've been charging it for approximately 5 hours. I know its fully charged as the wheel has stopped spinning but was wondering if I can use it now or should continue to let it charge? HTC Diamond users please help.|||leave it for another 5 hours or so. Just leave it to charge overnight. It is important to charge it for a long time to condition the battery.
