How can I replace for cheap a diamond on my ring?

I lost a diamond on a ring which belongs to my mum. I don't have the budget to replace the diamond - what should I do?|||Depending on if it is your ring or your Mom's, since it's not clear from your question.

The ring belongs to you, replace with a cubic zirconium until you can afford a diamond for it. The ring belongs to your Mom, best to tell her that it has gotten loose and come out. If you or your Mom owns a house then it may be covered by the home owner's insurance. Replacing the missing stone should be a simple matter for a jewelry, although you may also have to have a prong or two also replaced. Many times a prong breaks or gets bent and the stone will fall out.

FYI:Cheap diamonds are junk, sold to people who do not know the difference. And often sold for more than they are really worth.

Find a good trustworthy jeweler, ask other people who they've used.|||DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH BETTER THAN THE BRAZILIAN THAT DISCOVERED THE ONLY RULES OF THE ENGLISH PRONUNCIATION?

A regra relmente 茅 a 煤nica; n茫o existe possibilidade de haver duas.

F谩bio fez por n贸s, por todos os usu谩rios do ingl锚s do Brasil, e por que n茫o do mundo?

www.lcm.com.br|||buy a fake one for like $2|||Ask your mum for the specs on the ring, if she knows them (shape, size, etc.). Then plug the specs into a diamond search engine (I use Diamond Price Guru, but there are others). They show you the prices of diamonds that fit your description from a dozen different stores, including Amazon.com, which has some great diamond prices. If the price is still too high, ask mum if you can go down a grade in color, clarity, or cut grade. Just move the slide bar on the search engine, and you'll see prices for that kind of diamond.

After you buy a loose diamond, make sure the jeweler knows how the original broke loose so the jeweler can mend any metal problems.

I hope this helps. (I haven't tried cleaning a diamond yet.)
