What is the orange dot on your map in pokemon diamond?

On my map in pokemon diamond, their is an orange dot on my screen that keeps blinking when i open my map. What is it? Also, if this helps, I beat the E4, and have the national dex.|||It nothing important it just show you where you have recently have gone. It does not do nothing much

For example, if you went from Twinleaf town to Sandgem town and opened your map, you would see the orange dot moving square to square over the route you've just taken.


If you fly from Snowpoint city to Celestic town, the orange dot will blink at Snowpoint, then in Celestic, showing that's your path.|||It's showing where you last traveled.|||it shows where you traveled
